In this report, the author shows that older people contributed greatly through the COVID-19 pandemic, often coping and supporting others across a range of areas - despite often facing worse impacts of the pandemic.

This strategy document outlines the Australian government health supports to manage COVID-19 over the next 12 months. These health supports have been informed by the likely 2023 Australian epidemiological outlook and advice from the Chief Medical Officer.

This report is based on the findings of a survey conducted nationally over 6 weeks in early 2022 with 1,007 small business owner participants. The findings indicate that there are high levels of mental ill‑health within the small business sector, suggesting a continued need for tailored small business mental health initiatives.

This report looks specifically at health as a major determinant of the labour market, and one that needs to be better understood – particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This issues paper has been released to provide interested parties with an update on the Committee’s inquiry to date, and also to identify some of the issues and themes emerging from the Committee’s preliminary investigations and to highlight gaps and areas that the Committee intends to examine during upcoming public hearings.
