This draft International Education and Skills Strategic Framework aims to ensure Australia’s international student program supports the sustainability, quality and integrity of our world-class international education sector. The Department of Education will lead targeted sector consultation during development of the final strategic framework, expected to be released later this year.

The Australian Universities Accord final report contains 47 recommendations for the federal government's consideration, and aims to create a long-term reform plan for the higher education sector to meet Australia’s future skills needs.
