This report examines how governments — and the societies around them — mobilised intelligence to handle the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects. It also makes recommendations as to how they could improve their ability to organise intelligence for future challenges of all kinds, from pandemics to climate change.

This journal article describes a research project that was developed to generate timely, relevant evidence in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to guide policy, practice and planning in New South Wales.

This report is based on the findings of a survey conducted nationally over 6 weeks in early 2022 with 1,007 small business owner participants. The findings indicate that there are high levels of mental ill‑health within the small business sector, suggesting a continued need for tailored small business mental health initiatives.

This strategy document outlines the Australian government health supports to manage COVID-19 over the next 12 months. These health supports have been informed by the likely 2023 Australian epidemiological outlook and advice from the Chief Medical Officer.
