The World Health Organization has developed this strategy to enhance global and national pandemic preparedness to combat the ongoing threat of zoonotic influenza, and to improve seasonal influenza prevention and control in all countries.

This data visualisation tool provides interactive data displays of preliminary deaths and fatal burden estimates by disease or injury in Australia as part of the Australian Burden of Disease Study 2015. It enables comparisons across age groups, sex and certain population groups. In addition, changes in fatal burden over time can be explored.
