This research identifies measures that could reduce youth homelessness and lead to improved outcomes for young people who experience homelessness. The findings are based on a community-level analysis of special homelessness services (SHS) data and sites of innovation in three states: South Australia, NSW and Victoria.

This report elevates the voices of young people with lived experience of homelessness who have generously shared their stories and the solutions they believe can end youth homelessness in the next ten years.

The specialist homelessness services 2018–19 web report is the eighth annual report from the Specialist Homelessness Services Collection (SHSC). It describes the characteristics of clients of specialist homelessness services, the services requested, outcomes achieved, and unmet requests for services during 2018–19.

This study investigated the issues affecting older Australians who are facing homelessness, including the capacity to access Specialist Homeless Services and other government supports, and potential ways to escape homelessness for older people. The research also considers appropriate, successful international practices for older people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

In April 2019, Aboriginal Housing Victoria convened Victoria’s first Aboriginal housing and homelessness Summit. The purpose of the Summit was to inform the development of an Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Policy Framework for Victoria. This report provides a snapshot of the ideas and suggestions raised through the workshops.
