STEM professionals in schools: 2018-19 program impact evaluation
This impact evaluation assessed the impact and quality of the STEM Professionals in Schools Program. The program performed best in delivering benefits to direct and indirect program recipients and the greatest impact was with teachers and in the broader community. The report recommends program improvements, including in data collection and the partnership model.

This report explored questions around the enablers and barriers to awareness, foundational knowledge and early implementation of digital technology for schools. The case studies exemplified a range of initial and current progress journeys that schools were on, drawing on the key themes identified in the baseline survey.

This evaluation assesses the impact, separately and together, of Australian Government initiatives supporting STEM teaching and learning in schools and the early years. Overall, findings were generally positive and affirmed the Australian Government’s current approach, but there were some clear opportunities for future focus.
