SVA have developed an evidence-informed perspective on what is required to increase the number of jobs that people experiencing disadvantage can access; to match disadvantaged jobseekers with the right employers, and to give employers and jobseekers the support and services they need to overcome barriers to sustainable employment.

Empowering YOUth Initiatives was an employment program for young people aged 15 to 24 years at risk of long-term unemployment. It trialled innovative approaches to improving participants’ skills and helping them progress towards sustainable employment. This report outlines a high-level process and impact evaluation strategy for the Empowering YOUth Initiatives.
