The extent of violence inflicted on adolescent Aboriginal girls in the Northern Territory
Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are at very high risk of violence, but there is little evidence about the age at which their higher exposure to violence commences. The aim of this study was to investigate violence inflicted on Aboriginal girls during childhood and adolescence, relative to Aboriginal boys and non-Aboriginal girls.

The Territory Gap: comparing Australia’s remote Indigenous communities
The major finding of this research is that the Northern Territory has the worst economic outcomes for Indigenous people in remote or very remote locations of any state or territory in Australia by some margin.

This strategy was developed with expertise from the Disability Advisory Committee (NT) and community input, including from those with lived experience of disability, taking into account their families, carers and significant others, government and non-government services. The strategy and three-year action plan is the first of its kind for the Territory.
