This report shows how investing in better design for Australian housing can deliver a double benefit. If implemented now, it can protect jobs and keep money flowing to sustain the economy. In the long term, it can lower energy bills and reduce carbon emissions, thus contributing to meeting Australia’s climate change obligations

With the right support, CSIRO envisions that by 2040 Australia will maintain its globally competitive strengths in quantum technology research and development and develop a thriving quantum technology industry.

A key goal of this roadmap is to ensure Australia remains at the forefront of the global low emissions technological innovation.

This report argues that Australia’s current approach to fighting cybercrime needs to be augmented to account more seriously for the local dimension, particularly in Southeast Asia, and our fight against cybercrime should be more targeted, enduring and forward-looking.

The recommendations outlined in this report are intended to help Australia exceed its current international commitments and create a pathway for ongoing emissions reductions beyond 2030 to meet future commitments under the Paris Agreement.
