Description

Cross-cultural collaborations, or partnerships between Aboriginal and mainstream services, are regarded as particularly crucial in facilitating community engagement and breaking down barriers to service delivery. The purpose of the Njernda Partnership Model is to support a partnership approach that aims to improve the health status of local Aboriginal people in the Campaspe and Murray areas. The Njernda Partnership Model is considered an exemplar of a cross-cultural partnership group. This report documents the Njernda Partnership Model to inform others seeking to implement a similar approach.
