In December 2019 Arts Council England plans to publish its next 10-year strategy. It will come into effect in April 2020 and take over from the current strategy, Great Art and Culture for Everyone.
The new strategy will extend and develop the Arts Council’s support for our country’s artists, curators and librarians, cultural organisations and their workforces, and the communities they serve. The new strategy will also shape how development, advocacy and investment approaches will be delivered for the next decade.
Over the last 18 months, Arts Council England has gathered a huge range of evidence and spoken to over 5000 people. The responses received inform this a draft strategy. Consultation is open from 1 July 2019 and runs for 12 weeks to inform the final strategy.
