FSANZ undertook a literature review to inform the development of risk management options for a pregnancy warning label on packaged alcoholic beverages. The literature review covered the period from November 2008 to July 2019. The review was not limited to peer-reviewed papers, but includes studies from the grey literature, primarily government and non-government organisation (NGO) commissioned reports, as these are highly relevant to Australia and New Zealand populations. A total of 46 studies were included in the review.
