This report reviews 20 years of data in the Council's Sentencing Snapshots to identify changes in sentencing practices in the higher courts for a select number of offences:

• murder, manslaughter and culpable driving causing death
• various cause injury offences
• drug trafficking and cultivation offences
• rape, incest and a number of child sex offences.

The report also outlines offender numbers, imprisonment rates, imprisonment lengths and non-parole periods for each offence.
