In 2020 VLF's research team was engaged by the Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria (Federation), the peak body for Victoria's community legal centres (CLCs)to collaborate on a survey of the Victorian CLC workforce. The survey provides important new information about the Victorian CLC workforce, drawn from both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
Teamed with development of a 10-Year Plan, the CLC sector workforce survey helps to identify priority issues to build a CLC workforce that is strong, capable, resilient and fit for the future.
This Technical Report details the Federation 2020 Workforce Survey project methodology, survey development and testing, survey topics, details of standardised scales included in the survey, response rates and recruitment and the analytical approach. The report provides the methodological context for subsequent subject specific reports using Workforce Survey data.
