The report provides a summary of civil laws, criminal laws, reviews or reforms currently in progress, and best practice initiatives in response to antisemitism and Islamophobia – presenting anti-vilification measures for each state and territory government and the Commonwealth.

A summary for each jurisdiction includes the following:

• civil laws which specifically protect against vilification/hate speech/conduct
• criminal laws which specifically protect against vilification/hate speech/conduct
• reviews or reforms currently in progress
• other current or recent best practice initiatives relating to preventing/addressing vilification, including commissioned research.
