Description
In New Approaches to Expanding the Supply of Affordable Housing in Australia: An Increasing Role for the Private Sector Mike Berry argues that reduced governments have been reducing their spending on social housing at a time when increasing economic inequality and insecurity and high house price inflation (especially in the large cities) is creating increased "housing stress". In this final report on a major AHURI research project, Berry proposes measures to increase private sector investment in affordable housing.
