Description
ECCV assisted the Victorian Government in its consultations with Victoria's culturally diverse community to inform the development of the Victorian Government's Gender Equality Strategy.
The consultations identified several key priorities for ethnic Victorian women including:
- a strong call for genuine partnerships with ethnic community groups;
- the professionalisation of bilingual workforce and;
- empowerment of culturally diverse women through capacity building, education and creating pathways for employment.
