This audit was undertaken to provide assurance to the Parliament that the Australian Government’s response to the Black Economy Taskforce report is being implemented effectively to combat the shadow economy.

This report synthesises the literature of the last decade, with a focus on literature emerging since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to identify issues that will affect working in the Australian Public Service (APS). It focuses on teleworking, but also examines activity-based working and remote working hubs.

This paper provides information about the trans-Tasman electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) collaboration and seeks feedback from key stakeholders on early thinking about operational governance options for e-invoicing arrangements. The feedback received will inform the further development of options and related advice to the Australian and New Zealand governments.
