This issues paper provides some background on the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and describes issues that the disability sector, and other interested parties, have raised to date, as well as those identified in previous reviews and inquiries.

This paper covers the background to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), a summary of past reviews and outlines the ways in which this new review will: examine the design, operations and sustainability of the NDIS; and examine ways to build a more responsive, supportive and sustainable market and workforce.
