This research summary reports on how young people aged 15–25 years old from humanitarian backgrounds are settling in Australia. We use data from the Building a New Life in Australia (BNLA) study, and make reference to the National Youth Settlement Framework, developed by the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) Australia.

Educators and providers will have access to a new set of tools and resources to better support students from refugee backgrounds pursue higher education, following this national research project that examined students’ transition experiences.
