Unsolicited proposal process for the lease of Ausgrid
In October 2016, the NSW government accepted an unsolicited proposal from IFM Investors and AustralianSuper to lease 50.4 per cent of Ausgrid for 99 years. The deal followed the federal government’s rejection of two bids from foreign investors, for national security reasons. This performance audit has found shortcomings in the unsolicited proposal process.

Planning liveable cities: a place-based approach to sequencing infrastructure and growth
This paper provides advice to governments, industry, and the community on how to enable best-practice sequencing. It calls for an overhaul of the way new housing and infrastructure in our largest cities is delivered, proposing changes to current planning systems, governance frameworks, and funding arrangements to better manage Australia's rapid population growth.

In 2015 the New Zealand (NZ) government gifted $11.7 million to the Cook Islands for Stage 1 of the redevelopment of a national college in celebration of the Cook Islands 50 years of self-governance in free association with New Zealand. This report evaluates the first stage of the redevelopment.

Social housing as infrastructure: an investment pathway
This research modelled five alternative pathways to funding social housing and found the ‘capital grant’ model, supplemented by efficient financing, provides the most cost effective model for Australia. The research also established the current and future unmet need for social housing in different parts of Australia.
