This study presents an application of the Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) for the modelling of a chain of wastes.

The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed several weaknesses in the modern, industrial food supply chain. The largest vulnerabilities exist in the growing and processing of food, mainly in relation to labour conditions and the lack of competition in key industries.

The construction sector is considered one of the largest resource consumers on the planet and one of the main productive sectors of the economy. This proposed model demonstrates the impacts arising from delays in the delivery of materials, leading to the stoppage of teams and the accumulation of work.
