This report outlines key international developments in response to economic abuse over the past 12-18 months across six participating countries: Australia, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

This research was conducted with a view to understanding what domestic abuse survivors want from mental health support, and what an effective response looks like. The findings will inform Women’s Aid’s work to ensure that mental health support commissioned for survivors of domestic abuse meets the needs survivors and is informed by their voices.

This strategy document is the overarching, national policy framework that will guide actions towards ending violence against women and children over the next 10 years. It highlights how all parts of society must work together to achieve the shared vision of ending gender-based violence.

This study provides a deeper insight into the exposure to domestic and family violence for children with disability. It lays the groundwork for the future research that is required into service provision and access for children with disability, and the design of preventative and responsive services and supports.

This report presents the findings from research that aimed to provide new knowledge on the nature and extent of domestic and family violence experienced by children with disability (0 to 18 years), and the experiences of children and young people with disability (8 to 24 years) and their families of using support services.
