In early 2023, Queensland Health commissioned this evidence review of data available on the health of Queensland women and girls. The review provided a quantitative evidence base to inform development of the Queensland women and girls’ health strategy 2032.

This is the first time that Aotearoa New Zealand has had a women’s health strategy. It sets long-term priorities which will guide the health system progress towards equity and healthy futures for women.

Throughout this inquiry, the Committee heard that enabling universal access to reproductive healthcare has the profound capacity to improve community health and well-being, develop a culture of inclusion and safety, and enhance workforce participation.
