In this positioning paper, Judith Yates, Bill Randolph, Darren Holloway and Dominique Murray introduce a project to test the impact of high housing costs on the workplace-home relationship for all workers. They identify 'indicator' groups in the workforce that might be seen to be typical of workers who are likely to experience real constraints on their residential location choices as a result of high cost housing in or around the places they work.
