Australian vocational education and training statistics: student outcomes 2005 – summary

Description

The latest national Student Outcomes Survey reveals that 88 per cent of TAFE graduates were satisfied with the overall quality of their training, the highest level of satisfaction recorded in the last five years. Eighty-five per cent of TAFE graduates reported that they achieved their main aim for undertaking training, with 73 per cent stating it was relevant to their current job.

This year’s survey also collected information about government-funded graduates of private training providers. Graduates of private training providers also reported positive outcomes from training; 83 per cent were satisfied with their training, 88 per cent achieved their main aim for training, and 79 per cent reported their training was relevant to their current job.
