The Migration Assurance Framework (MAF) has been updated in consultation with the telecommunications industry to ensure accurate active service address data is being provided by retail service providers and customers during the migration process.

The MAF, developed in collaboration with the telecommunications industry, sets out the agreed roles and responsibilities of industry parties for a smoother transition when customers take up new National Broadband Network (NBN) services.

The MAF reflects the multi-technology nature of the NBN and highlights the importance of service continuity and the customer experience for residential and business customers.
