This report summarises and reports on the key issues that came up in the responses to the Health Performance Council community consultation asking about experiences of people with disability engaging with health services. The consultation ran from March to April 2020.

This report lists the key issues and is released so that stakeholders can reflect on the extent to which Health Performance Council has properly identified the issues and make further suggestions on what should be the priorities for action. It is just one component of what the Health Performance Council will release in conducting a review of the equity of health outcomes for people with disability engaging with health services.

There are parallel components analysing other source material and data, that will be drawn into a final report and advice to the South Australian Minister for Health and Wellbeing.
