The project aimed to share information about the impacts of climate change across several generations of residents, developing a toolkit for use by households to identify risks to their own households and to plan actions that will mitigate those risks.

Outcomes

• Raise awareness of the potential impacts of climate change throughout the Nillumbik community
• Make it easier for the community to prepare for the impacts climate change
• Build the capacity of residents to protect their health and assets
• Brring together a number of generations and groups across the community through discussing the project and develop the adaptation actions relevant to other residents
• Raise the general awareness and action around dealing with the impacts of climate change.
• Developed a document to support future action in the community.
