Independent Review into Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces: progress update 2021 | 591.41 KB |
The Independent Review into Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces was established in March 2021 by the Morrison Government, with the support of the federal Opposition and cross-bench MPs.
The review is examining the culture of Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces with the aim of ensuring that the national Parliament reflects best practice in the prevention of, and response to, bullying, sexual harassment and sexual assault. The review will not investigate or make findings about individual allegations of bullying, sexual harassment or sexual assault.
This progress update outlines the work of the review to date, including the methodology. It contains the only information on the review that will be released by the Commission ahead of the final report in November 2021.
