|Victoria Summit 2021 playbook||24.49 MB|
After 12 months of collaboration that has brought together thought leaders from industry, unions, governments, the community and educational institutions from across Victoria, the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is proud to release the Victoria Summit 2021 Playbook.
The VCCI argues that this a critical point in Victoria's history. This Playbook aims to guide stakeholders toward a shared, bold and compelling future that they hope all Victorians can rally behind. This is a guide to help make Victoria the best place to live, learn, work and operate business, put together by Victoria's best and brightest minds.
The Playbook features 10 pillars, 46 pathways and 189 actions which are the culmination of 10,000 hours of work including a series of in-person and virtual Reference Group and Working Group meetings, as well as three public forums featuring keynote addresses from former political leaders and emerging leaders.
The 10 pillars – Business, Skilled, Sustainable, Wellbeing, Inclusive, Most Liveable, Innovative, Globally Competitive, Experience and Connected – represent the areas where action must be undertaken across business and the economy, community, health and wellbeing and the future of work.
The pathways and actions build on existing regulation, policy and programs and identifies gaps and areas for improvement to make Victoria the best state it can be. The VCCI has not included specific policy positions - so as to allow governments, oppositions and political parties the opportunity to adopt and shape the actions as part of their plans for Victoria.
