This report aims to enhance overall understanding of gender equality in the Australian cyber security profession with a view to offering solutions to reduce gender disparities. 

The authors establish quantitative and statistical support for the presence of gendered barriers in cyber security, review extant literature to highlight the organisational and societal factors that contribute to gender disparities in cyber security and canvas policies and initiatives designed to support efforts to improve gender diversity and inclusion in cyber security.
