This report has been provided to the Victorian Government by the independent Gas Market Taskforce and is being released for public comment.

The Victorian Gas Market Taskforce, chaired by former Federal Minister Peter Reith, was established in January 2013 by Premier Ted Baillieu to examine gas supply issues.

This report makes 19 recommendations including lifting the holds on fracking and the approval of new Coal Seam Gas exploration licences.
