National Indigenous law and justice strategy: consultative draft

The strategy is intended to facilitate development of a bipartisan, coordinated, long-term and multi-jurisdictional approach, working together to reduce the pressing and complex issues in Indigenous justice. There are four key law and justice issues highlighted: to increase actual and perceived safety; to reduce crime in communities and improve access to justice; to reduce imprisonment and juvenile detention; and to reduce the impacts of family violence.
