Deconstructs and aims to provoke further response to a 4 May 2016 'Dominion Post' editorial, ‘Servants of the people, not govt’, in which it is implied that the NZ public service enjoys a constitutional personality (or identity) and, as such, it is vital to the integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of our system of government and governance that the personality is recognised, respected and protected.
