Report
Description
Emer Diviney and Serena Lillywhite identify the barriers low-income and vulnerable Victorians face in accessing appropriate eyecare. Their research confirms the value of increasing outreach services for people who are homeless or living in supported residential services and providing access to interpreters for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. There is also clearly a need to promote eye health, to address the cost and choice of eyewear and to increase access to public eye surgery in regional Victoria.
