This study investigates emerging roles in social media work across a range of professions and organisations, and the transforming media and communications environment associated with digital technologies, big data and social media platforms.

The private rental sector has grown significantly and is now home to more than 1.8 million Australian households.

A preliminary research paper (secondary data analysis, interviews and focus groups with policy community) helped inform this Investigative Panel. Two panel meetings were held in New South Wales and Victoria and comprised local and state government representatives, NGOs, rooming house owners and researchers.

This study sought to understand how housing assistance policy in Australia might respond to, and link with, social policy innovation around individualised welfare assistance. The review of international and Australian housing and care-related programs highlights some key lessons emerging from the implementation of individualised housing and social support programs.

This survey aimed to gather data that would help understand how information and research produced by organsations on public interest issues is discovered, selected, catalogued and collected by libraries and other collecting organisations and services.
