This project aims to investigate transport and travel for rural and regional young people, to examine successes and challenges in improving the provision of transport services to young people, and to focus on viable solutions to their transport needs.

The information gathered from this project will be used by the Department of Family and Community Services to support the development of new parenting initiatives, policies and programs relating to parenting information and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents and carers.

This report was commissioned by National Disability Administrators on behalf of Commonwealth, State and Territory Ministers responsible for disability services in Australia to enhance quality and improve abuse prevention strategies in services funded under the Commonwealth/State Disability Agreement.
