Digital inclusion is based on the premise that everyone should be able to make full use of digital technologies – to manage their health and wellbeing, access education and services, organise their finances, and connect with friends, family, and the world beyond.

The unique features of Queensland create particular challenges and opportunities for digital inclusion. With the potential of technology to deliver better health, education, social and economic outcomes, it has never been more important that no one gets left behind.

To produce evidence with ‘impact’, and know how to ‘make evidence count’, we need to understand the policy process and how evidence is produced and used in a complex system.

This report presents impacts of social enterprise in Victoria. The aims are to: 1. Identify, locate and characterise Victoria’s population of social enterprises and key intermediaries; and 2. Inform the Victorian Social Enterprise Strategy by valuing the social and economic impact of social enterprises.

This report in the Giving Australia 2016 study explores how Australia’s Nonprofit organisations engage the community, business and philanthropic foundations. The report provides a snapshot useful to NPOs and sector funders for benchmarking and strategy. It also creates a new baseline for future research and opens conversations about the barriers and opportunities identified.
