This report examines key drivers of inequity within Australia’s educational system and the impacts on students, and provides recommendations on what needs to be done both inside and outside the school gates to deliver a more equitable education system post-pandemic.

This study investigates an innovation in higher education that has achieved demonstrable results for equity students - the Block Model at Victoria University. The study looked inside the “black box” of the Block Model, interviewing Victoria University leaders, academics and students about why it has improved retention and learning.

This report describes the development of a framework for guiding the evaluation of the Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program and projects funded by this program. The development of the framework was underpinned by key principles: credible, implementable, flexible, useful, transparent, and inclusive and culturally appropriate.
