Post-Study Work Rights (PSWRs) are granted through temporary visas that allow international students to remain and work in the host country after graduation. This research note investigates the economic consequences of extending PSWRs durations. While extending PSWRs was effective in increasing enrolments, it did not lead to clear improvements in international graduates’ labour market outcomes.

This resource collates a set of eight fact sheets developed to help young people with disability get their first job. The fact sheets include getting prepared, support for a first job and information for employers. Having a job opens up opportunities for friendship, skill development and life experience.

Good Sammy Enterprises (GSE) is a not-for-profit social enterprise in Western Australia. GSE is trialling new models of employment support to people with intellectual disability to build their capacity and secure open employment outside GSE. This interim report evaluates the impact, outcomes and effectiveness of the trials.

This evaluation reports on a program designed to address agricultural workforce shortages and improve pathways to entry-level work for young people. It finds positive outcomes for young people and employers, but challenges with adapting to changing local conditions.

The strategy sets out a framework to enable stronger collaboration between government and universities that targets workforce needs, student pathways, equity and effective public policy. The strategy was developed in partnership with the state’s public universities. It outlines principles for collaboration and sets out four shared priorities and a series of actions.
