Information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important tool for school systems as they seek to enhance education and make it more efficient. Two examples highlighted in this brief are teachers’ digital self-efficacy and training in ICT-based instruction.

This report examines key drivers of inequity within Australia’s educational system and the impacts on students, and provides recommendations on what needs to be done both inside and outside the school gates to deliver a more equitable education system post-pandemic.

The case for increasing girls’ and women’s interest and uptake in STEM careers has been clearly outlined. This report examines the Australian situation in applying integrated STEM education to the primary school environment, comparing it to policies and initiatives in the developed countries.
