The purpose of the Policy Choice Framework is to help policy makers decide how to change the behaviour of primary producers.

This report completes the project commissioned in 2010 entitled Policies and Governance to Support Integrated Landscape Management in a Changing Climate — the Integrated Landscape Management (ILM) project.

This report is a major output of a research project entitled ‘Implementing tools to increase adaptive capacity in the community and natural resource management sectors’; funded by the Victorian Government through the Victorian Centre for Climate Change Adaptation Research (VCCCAR). The project consists of several phases of desktop, empirical and action research.

This 2011 update of significant elements of the 2008 Garnaut Climate Change Review considers elements of the original review where changes or improvements in expert knowledge could have significant implications for the key findings and recommendations for future climate change policy.

The costs of Australia playing its proportionate part in an effective global effort are manageable, according to this report.
