This report, based on longitudinal data, analyses the level of deprivation and wellbeing experienced by Australian children, with particular reference to those living with disability, those living in monetary poverty, and those living in jobless families.

This report finds that although the global gender gap narrowed slightly in 2018, access to health and education, and political empowerment, suffered reversals. At the current rate of change, the global gender gap will take 108 years to close; economic gender parity remains 202 years off.

This report provides further support for the TEACHaR program which seeks to improve educational outcomes for children and young people in care.
