This is an annual publication of data on schools, students and in-school staff involved in the provision, or administration, of primary and secondary education, in government and non-government schools, for all Australian states and territories.

The publication also includes derived measures of student engagement and ratios of full-time equivalent (FTE) students to FTE teaching staff.

This first release contains time series data cubes with student data, including counts and FTE values, for full-time and part-time students. The data cubes display the data by various combinations of state/territory, school affiliation, Indigenous status, sex, grade and age.
