National Disability Research Partnership: process evaluation report

Publisher
Research impact Program evaluation Disability services Disability People with disability Australia
Description

Significant steps have been made in the establishment of the National Disability Research Partnership, an ambitious and complex undertaking. All of the deliverables met requirements as specified in the grant agreement (with final reports provided to Government at the time of publishing this report).

Respondents to the evaluation generally thought strong foundations had been laid, particularly to ensure the knowledge of people with disability is valued. However, the evaluation identified there is not yet broad awareness of the NDRP, and that further steps could be taken to reach and ensure accessibility for people with varying disabilities, increase the likelihood that research funded to influence policy, and support the sustainability of the NDRP in the long-term.
