This data brief provides important data about housing for all 93 NSW electorates. It shows data for each electorate and enables comparison of electorates using interactive tables. The brief draws on the 2021 Census and more recent sources to show headline electorate data across 7 housing supply and affordability indicators.

Examples include:

• The proportion of dwellings that were inactive in 2021 ranged from 0.5% in Blacktown to 3.3% in Barwon
• The percentage of households in housing stress in 2021 ranged from 17.7% in Monaro to 46.6% in Fairfield
• The percentage of families receiving Commonwealth Rent Assistance in June 2023 ranged from 3.3% in Davidson to 30.0% in Fairfield.
