This report highlights the achievements of the Victorian Government and the First Peoples’ Assembly in advancing
the Treaty process and preparing to embark on landmark Treaty negotiations. Negotiations between the State and the First Peoples’ Assembly are on track to commence later in 2024. 

The report covers Victoria’s commitment to Truth and Treaty and the next steps, including preparation from the Victorian Government, First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and Traditional Owner Groups.
