This position paper highlights the importance of economic justice for people with disability as a right under international and Australian law. It calls for action by the incoming Australian Government across three key areas: income support, employment and housing.

• Increase the rate of the Disability Support Pension.
• Remove barriers that stop people from working.
• Set disability employment targets in the public sector.
• Move people out of institutional residential settings and into community-based housing.
• Supporting people with disability to buy their own homes.
