Description
The Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) investment blueprint is a guide to net zero investment in Australia. It sets a clear example of how to make national climate commitments investable. Climate change is a global challenge, and international cooperation is key to addressing it.
Australia’s Net Zero Plan and 2035 Target underpins Australia’s NDC, and set out how Australia will transition to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Australia’s Net Zero Plan is supported by six Sector Emissions Reduction Plans which collectively cover all sources of emissions across the Australian economy.
The blueprint guides global investors through:
- investment opportunities from the Net Zero plan
- key net zero technologies in the six sector emissions reduction plans
- industries under the Future Made in Australia agenda
- investment settings and support services
- public funding options and regulatory framework.
